United Services Automobile Association Employee PAC - USAA Employee Pac issued the following announcement on April 2.
USAA has been named one of the 2019 Gallup Great Workplaces, Gallup announced today. This is the sixth year USAA has been on the list.
Gallup’s report is based on an independent survey that asks employees questions that tie their performance, their commitment to their organization and specific business metrics. The results are then compared with Gallup’s database, which includes 35 million respondents and more than 3 million workgroups from 195 countries.
“USAA strives to be a great place to work by providing an inclusive environment where employees feel a sense of belonging and have access to world-class benefits and career development opportunities,” says Pat Teague, chief human resources officer at USAA. “We are proud that USAA is being recognized for its culture.”
The Gallup Great Workplace Award recognizes and celebrates the most elite workplaces in the world. These best-in-class companies holistically optimize their cultures and develop unstoppable workforces that fully embrace a culture of engagement.
USAA’s longstanding culture of being a great place to work recently led to the company being recognized in FORTUNE’s Best Workplaces in Finance and Insurance. USAA ranked 17 on the list of 60 companies.
The association also received a 100 percent rating on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index. The CEI scores companies on their non-discrimination policies, benefits and other practices that include LGBTQ workers. This is the third straight year USAA has received a score of 100.
